Several UCFB students have been working with WAKTU to develop their skills, mindset and leadership skills.
The BA (Hons) Physical Education students, both from our Wembley and Manchester campuses, engaged with the opportunity to work with WAKTU, a bespoke sports camp organisation.
WAKTU aim to accelerate elite performance through their sports camps to ensure long-lasting success at the highest level.
Focusing on such pillars as mental resilience, physical vitality and constant growth, the students learnt much about unlocking their own potential.
When speaking about the trip, Stacy Hughes, course leader for BA (Hons) Physcial Education, said: “Experiential learning at its finest! UCFB Physical Education students have had the opportunity to engage with WAKTU, changing the student’s environment and encouraging them out of their comfort zones, positively impacting their mindset and leadership skills.
