Giles was appointed Managing Director of England Men’s Cricket at the ECB in 2018, and is responsible for the long-term strategy of each men’s side and their pathways.

As a spin bowler, Giles played his entire club career at Warwickshire and was a fan favourite of the Barmy Army during his successful time representing England. His career highlight was helping England finally end their long way to win the Ashes in 2005, including hitting the winning runs in the fourth Test at Trent Bridge.

Since retiring from playing, Giles has held senior executive roles at Warwickshire and Lancashire Cricket Clubs, as well spending time as coach of England Men’s ODI and T2O sides.
