Ben Leanse is one of UCFB’s graduates using the skills and knowledge from his degree in the Premier League, as Premium Services Executive at Brentford FC.
Ben studied BA (Hons) Sports Business and Sports Law at UCFB, a course which Ben said has plenty of transferable skills for his role at Brentford.
His role at the club includes looking after the hospitality section of the club, such as selling premium tickets for matchdays.
After gaining previous experience at fellow London clubs QPR, Watford and Tottenham Hotspur, Ben made the move to Brentford where he got his current permanent role.
He said: “I originally joined Brentford as a venue sales executive, and eight months in, I was promoted to premium services executive.”
He added, talking about his time at UCFB: “I really enjoyed the mix between the business and the law aspects. It gave a real oversight of the industry and covered a lot of topics.”
He finished: “The best thing about working in sport is the matchdays, without a doubt.
“You cannot beat the atmosphere and the buzz of the stadium on a matchday and seeing all your hard work and preparation come together.”
