The 55,000 capacity Etihad Stadium sits at the heart the Etihad Campus, just a short walk from Manchester city centre. Initially opened in 2002 as an athletics stadium for the Commonwealth Games, the arena was then smartly converted into one of the leading stadiums in the Premier League. Connected to the city centre via Metrolink, the stadium is one of a number leading facilities on offer to UCFB students.


Facilities available inside the stadium include:
• The Citizens Suite is a large, contemporary space for students to relax between lectures with a number of private booths available for those who wish to work in private;
• A number of pitch-facing executive boxes are often utilised as learning spaces for smaller groups;
• The Commonwealth Suite situated on the ground floor has the option to act as one large room to accommodate events such as guest speakers, or to be split into three rooms for separate seminars.
• Much like the Commonwealth Suite, on level three the 1894 Club on level three can be split into three separate rooms for student events.
