Applying Directly

Direct applications to our postgraduate programmes are submitted via the Learner Account you create in our Learner Portal and this can be accessed via the Apply Now button below.

On the direct application form, you will be asked to confirm:

your personal details
your highest academic qualification
the course for which you would like to apply

Currently, GIS does not hold a UK Government licence to educate international students on campus in the UK who would require a student visa. If you are applying from outside the UK and Ireland, only Distance and Distance (with attendance) programmes will appear on the course list.

You will also need to upload the following documents:

a personal statement of no fewer than 500 words covering at least your motivation, experience and skills in relation to your chosen course
your work, voluntary and coaching experience in the form a CV or LinkedIn profile
your highest qualification – degree certificate or transcript, for example
your coaching qualifications (if you are applying for a coaching programme)
a copy of the photo page of your current passport
Your IELTS or TOEFL test certificate if your first language is not English

You can save and exit your application form before you completed it and the Admissions Team will only start to consider your application once you have clicked on the final Submit button. If you have any questions now or during the process, please email the Admissions Team at admissions@ucfb.com

Priority Application Deadline - 31 August 2023

We strongly encourage you to submit your Masters application well before our 31 August 2023 priority application deadline (8 January 2024 for courses starting in January) to allow sufficient time for assessment of application, ensure availability on the course and enrolment in time for the beginning of your studies. Applications received after this date will only be considered on a case by case basis.
