Premier League managerial legend Sam Allardyce will be coming to UCFB Etihad Campus next week for an Executive Speaker Session.

The former Premier League manager will be speaking at the Etihad from 10am on the morning of Wednesday, February 8.

After achieving promotion to the Premier League with Bolton Wanderers in 2000-01, Allardyce went on to manage at eight different clubs in the top flight.

Allardyce, affectionately known as ‘Big Sam,’ is no stranger to UCFB, visiting the Etihad Campus as a guest speaker back in 2019, between his managerial roles at Everton and West Bromwich Albion.

He spoke to students about sports psychology, working under pressure and getting the right education on a path to a career in the sports industry.

He said: “Any education you’ve got towards having a career in football is a massive opportunity. I think that it’s a great thing to see that the next level of staff across the world of football may come from something like UCFB.”
