UCFB is delighted to announce a partnership with the International Professional Scouting Organisation (IPSO) which will see the company deliver leading scouting courses to students.

Following the delivery of two courses during the last academic year at UCFB Etihad Campus, IPSO will return to deliver a number of their scouting courses online to students from when the 2020/21 academic year begins in September.

IPSO is a network of experienced professional scouts and analysts who have worked at the highest levels in the game. They provide a number of courses catered for a range of abilities, to enable others to upskill and learn a range of scouting and analysis skills. The courses that IPSO deliver include: Talent Identification, Scouting & Analysis and Match Reporting.

Colin Chambers, IPSO director, said: “I would like to thank UCFB for inviting IPSO to deliver a couple of our scouting courses as a start of a new partnership and we are honoured to be working alongside an institution of the calibre of the UCFB. The courses last academic year were very successful and the feedback from the students was encouraging. We found the students were keen to engage into the interactive courses. We are looking forward to the academic year ahead.”

Marc Halliday, UCFB Etihad Campus Employability & Enrichment manager, added: “The courses IPSO delivered to our students in the last academic year were a great success, so much so that we have decided to continue our work with them as part of our Employability & Enrichment offer, in order to give students an insight into the world of scouting at the highest level. The team at IPSO have vast experience in this area and are able to draw on their experience and expertise in order to prepare the next generation. We look forward to working together in the new academic year.”
