Many UCFB Level 6 students will be travelling to St George’s Park, the home of all 23 England teams, for the April 2023 Future Leaders’ Conference.

The students, who will soon be graduating and making their way into the sports industry, will network with executives across the football and wider sports industry at the conference.

The conference will take place at St George’s Park on Tuesday, April 18, with students from both Wembley and Etihad campuses attending.

Upon arrival at 10am on the day, the students will receive a welcome from Football Focus’ and Final Score’s Mark Clemmit, before going on an hour-long tour of the £105m facility.

A choice of three speaker sessions follows, which are:

  • Kevin Sanders - elite sports and partnerships account manager in the operations department at St Georges Park
  • Liam Gill - St. George’s Park marketing manager
  • Daniel Simpson - game insights analyst at the FA, and Ian Bateman – FA youth coach developer at The FA

In the afternoon, after lunch, a panel session will take place, consisting of:

  • Jeremy Stone, director of Legal Williams Racing
  • Jamie Cox – director of cricket and operations at Marylebone Cricket Club
  • Holly Crane – strategy and insights at England Rugby

Following the panel is a 45-minute talk with keynote speaker Dion Dublin, before networking and drinks concludes the day.
