We are very happy to announce that our array of undergraduate scholarships ahead of the 2023-24 academic year are now live, with applications open.

UCFB is delighted to be able to offer a handful of fortunate students prospective students a scholarship to help towards their studies at university.

These scholarships can help through financial gain, training and development, mentorship, work placements, industry support, networking opportunities and in many other ways.

The scholarships now live at UCFB include:

  • Employability and Enrichment Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to two promising students who can demonstrate that their chosen degree course will benefit them in their career ambitions.

The scholarship, awarding £3,000, is aimed at helping to encourage the next generation of students and industry professionals through developing their skills and supporting them on their work placements and internships.

  • Social Mobility and Inclusion Scholarship (in partnership with the English Schools FA)

This scholarship awards £1,500 and aims to increase representation of people from a diverse range of backgrounds in the football and sports industry.

It focuses on encouraging an environment where everyone can achieve a sense of belonging and pursue their goals.

  • Coaching Mentoring Programme

This programme includes two scholarships: She Can Coach Scholarship and Access to Coaching Scholarship, which aim to promote female aspiring female coaches in the football industry, as well as coaches from ethnically diverse backgrounds who wish to forge a career in the game.

  • She Can Play Scholarship

This scholarship is aimed at an existing first team or reserve team Women’s Super League player, Women’s Championship player, and high-level academy players.

Successful applicants will automatically qualify as players of the UCFB Women’s Football Academy in Wembley, and through their commitment, will receive individual performance support including analysis, conditioning and training by UEFA A Licensed coaches.

  • Elite Athlete Scholarship

Aimed at athletes, this scholarship hopes to allow those competing in sport to train alongside their studies.

It is aimed at those who have competed in sport in the last two years, whether at a national or regional level.

How to apply:

  • Review Scholarship criteria to make sure you are eligible
  • Apply online by logging into the UCFB Learner Portal
  • You must be a current offer holder
  • Once applications are received and the deadline closed, our internal panel will decide the winning candidates who will be contacted before the start of the academic year
