JC is a recent post-graduate (PhD) at the University of Sheffield (media, journalism, public communication, and international politics). He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). Masters in Human Rights from the University of Manchester. PGCE in English & Literacy, University of Bolton, with a distinction in teaching practice. Degree in Youth and Community Work (JNC Professional Youth Worker), Manchester Metropolitan University.

With a heavy burden for the most deprived and marginalised, JC passionately pursues greater social justice in society. JC has previous paid and unpaid long teaching experience, notably assuming different teaching roles (UG and PG students) at the University of Sheffield's Media, Communication and Journalism Department from September 2019 to 2023. JC was among the winners of the prestigious University of Sheffield Education Awards 2023 (Teaching Practice – Highly Recommended).
