Education Consultant: Kick It Out
For many years Martin was a teacher of history and politics. He has long experience of leadership and management in learning. Martin has also worked as an independent educational consultant, and for Ofqual as an external expert on the reform of A levels and GCSEs.
He has worked as an educational consultant for Kick It Out since 2014 and was the principal architect of The Equality and Diversity Awareness in Football Award, the predecessor of The Inclusive Leadership in Football Award.
Martin was born and raised in Hampshire, studied at Sunderland Polytechnic, and worked in education in south-east London and Kent. He now lives in Harrogate.
