Company Pension

UCFB have an Auto Enrolment work place pension with is managed and operated by Standard Life. New staff are automatically enrolled three months after they start with UCFB.

Dress Code Policy

We encourage everyone to maintain an appropriate standard of dress and personal appearance at work. The purpose of our dress code is to establish basic guidelines on appropriate clothing and appearance at our workplace, so that we:

(a) promote a positive and professional image;

(b) respect the needs of men and women from all cultures and religions;

(c) make any adjustments that may be needed because of disability;

(d) take account of health and safety requirements;

and

(e) help staff and managers decide what clothing it is
appropriate to wear to work.

Life Assurance

UCFB College of Football Business Limited have a Group Life Assurance Scheme for which the following criteria apply for employees: -

  • All staff are automatically eligible as they join the company;
  • The minimum age for joining must be 16 years or over;
  • The expiry age is 65 or the state pension date if later;

Shared Parental Leave Policy

This policy is to set out your right of shared parental leave and pay. Shared parental leave enables mothers to commit to ending their maternity leave and pay at a future date, and to share the untaken balance of leave and pay as shared parental leave and pay with their partner, or to return to work early from maternity leave and opt into shared parental leave and pay at a later date.

Time Off For Dependants Policy

Employees have a statutory right to take a reasonable amount of time off work to deal with emergencies involving their dependants. This policy sets out UCFB’s stance on permitting employees to take time off for this purpose whilst ensuring our operations are not unduly affected.

Time Off For Public Duties Policy

We wish to enable employees to perform any public duties that they may be committed to undertake and so will give them time off to do so where it does not conflict with the operational needs of our business. We are not legally obliged to grant paid leave for these purposes. The circumstances in which we are prepared to do so are set out below.
