Last week, on Thursday 8th October, delighted parents and graduands flocked to the stunning and historic Towneley Hall to celebrate the culmination of three years of hard work, determination and perseverance at UCFB Burnley. The day encompassed three ceremonies for each of the degree classes graduating from UCFB.

The excited students, gowned in their red hoods and mortar boards started the procession from the Grand Hall, through the Green Room and into the beautiful, intimate Red Regency Room where their families and friends were sat amongst the striking paintings and busts of the Towneley Family who occupied the Grade 1 listed building for centuries.

After each of the ceremonies, the graduates and their guests took full advantage of the beautiful weather, taking to the picturesque grounds of Towneley Hall to capture that perfect photo which will be treasured by each family forever. After the final ceremony had taken place and all the graduands had become graduates, a much anticipated photo was taken with beaming smiles across all the proud graduates faces.

Towards the end of the afternoon, after what can only be described as a spectacular graduation, all graduates and their guests were welcomed into the purpose-built marquee with a champagne reception before settling down to dinner. Awards were presented by Chief Executive, Philip Wilson and the Academic Team to those students that had gone above and beyond throughout their three years at UCFB.

After a well-deserved toast to the Class of 2015, graduates, guests and members of staff enjoyed a wonderful meal, enabling everyone to spend some quality family time, reminiscing over memories at UCFB and looking towards the bright futures that lay ahead for each UCFB graduate.

BA (Hons) Football Business & Marketing graduate, Sophie Louise Jones commented on her graduation:
