Students signed up for the 2022 GIS Atlanta Summit will have the exclusive chance to hear from Grady Jarrett, Defensive End for the Atlanta Falcons, as he discusses his career, life as a professional athlete and how to break into the US sports industry.
Jarrett, who comes as a double package with his iconic mother, Elisha, has been ranked in the NFL Top 100 Players of the year, and named as part of the All-Pro Team. His career began at The Clemson Tigers at College, and he’s been the backbone of the Falcons ever since, with a total of seven years (and counting) at the club.
He will be joined by several other industry-leading names at the Summit, taking place from the 9th-17th of September, which is based at the iconic Mercedes-Benz Stadium, home of the Falcons. Students will have unprecedented access to networking events, behind the scenes tours and live sports matches, including MLB (Major League Baseball), MLS (Major League Soccer) and, of course, the NFL.
After the success of GIS’ New York and Miami Summits earlier in the year, the first in-person events for two years due to the pandemic, Atlanta is set to continue the unparalleled insight UCFB and GIS students gain in the global sports industry.
