For Adam, studying in a campus that has the famous Wembley Stadium at its heart is all the motivation he needs to one day achieve his long held career goal – to return to the iconic stadium as a professional sports writer and cover a major cup final.

As soon as he found out that he could study his preferred degree programme at UCFB Wembley, Adam’s mind was made up. Already on the course he’s experienced being in the press box at a live football match, and has had the opportunity to pick the brains of leading reporters while on a tour of the Sky News and Sky Sports News studios.

Adam, who cites the principles of sports journalism module on his course as a particular favourite, has fully embraced the opportunities and experiences available to him at UCFB. He regularly attends the Executive Guest Speaker sessions and says all the speakers, whether specifically linked to his degree programme or not, offer inspiration and great insight into their own careers and how students can progress in theirs.

Work experience is also a big part of students’ time at UCFB, and Adam has landed a great role at Wembley Stadium with The Football Association in the Media Support team. On match day Adam comes to Wembley to assist visiting media personnel, and knows such a high profile role will look fantastic on his CV when he graduates and enters the world of work.

“The experiences you get from studying at Wembley Stadium are really inspirational. You can sit in the lecture rooms, look out onto the pitch and know that if you work hard enough you could be back sitting in the press box covering a big match.”
