UCFB Wembley and Burnley students and staff recently displayed their commitment to charity by taking a brave leap of faith in bungee jumps across the UK, in the process raising an impressive £3,435 for Breast Cancer Care.
UCFB Burnley students and staff began proceedings on Sunday 12th April, taking the plunge and diving into The Abyss. The daredevil participants travelled to the Magna Science Adventure Centre in South Yorkshire to take part in the indoor charity bungee jump in semi-darkness, organised by the dedicated Student Union. UCFB Burnley raised a fantastic £1,450 in donations.
In addition to the UCFB Burnley bungee jump, students and staff at UCFB Wembley also took part in a bungee jump of their own at London’s O2 Arena on Sunday 26th April. Also coordinated by the Student Union, participants raised an incredible £2,000, adding to the already impressive amount raised two weeks earlier.

Both days were enjoyed by everyone involved and represented an unforgettable opportunity to raise awareness and much needed funds for such a great cause.
UCFB are committed to raising awareness and money for various charities all around the globe. In the past six months UCFB students and staff have raised thousands of pounds for charities such as Macmillan Cancer Support, Comic Relief, Children in Need, British Heart Foundation and Young Minds UK, to name just a few.
