UCFB is delighted to be partnering with Hashtag United to bring you the much awaited Hashtag Academy Series Three.

As part of a partnership launched in January between UCFB and Hashtag United, we’re working together on the biggest series yet of ever-popular YouTube hit – Hashtag Academy.

This year there will be two winners, one male and one female, who will go on to represent the men’s and women’s Hashtag United teams respectively. Both winners will take home a contract worth up to £6,000 with the club and UCFB will be there every step of the way to capture everything as it happens.

The club was founded in 2016 by YouTube star Spencer Owen to play in a series of exhibition matches, however, the team’s popularity, coupled with Spencer’s online presence, soon meant the club applied for entry to The FA National League System.

The men’s side were leading the Essex Senior League Premier Division when the season was curtailed due to COVID-19, and have ambitions to climb the English football pyramid. The women’s team were second in the FA Women’s National League Division One South East when their season was cut short.

Sign-ups to series three are open until Tuesday 6th April, so there is still time to take part in the trials and compete to win this massive prize!
